Ravenswood has become one of Chicago's hottest neighborhoods for remodels and renovations. Located on the Northside of Chicago, the neighborhood is filled with classic Chicago two and three flats. This was a traditional Chicago two flat deconverted into a 4,200 sq. ft. custom home featuring 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a gourmet kitchen. The home’s three car masonry garage with a built-in fireplace, cozy backyard, and Trex fencing creates an experience that feels like an escape from the city.

The goal behind Spaulding was to take an older home with its original closed off layout and create a completely open concept kitchen and dining area with a new custom staircase leading to a 2nd floor office and master suite. On the first floor, the new structural beams and posts are clad with locally sourced barn wood. The dining area features a wine room with a glass door and iron frame. The office and master suite comprise the 2nd floor and feature a barn door with track system, frameless walk-in shower, and a walnut vanity with concrete countertops.

Unmatched attention to detail is exemplified in the custom eat in kitchen w/ professional appliances, large butler's pantry, raised rear terrace with built in grill, climate controlled wine storage, multiple fireplaces, intricate moldings, and the custom stair case. The penthouse level includes a wet bar, full bath, and front and rear decks for entertainment. The building’s front facade and hardscape include custom limestone front steps with a snow melt system.

The goal of the Hastings house was to transition a growing family living in an urban home to a home in the suburbs with a larger footprint that maintained a contemporary urban feel. The home features modern finishes throughout and is complete with a gourmet kitchen. This 4,800 sq. ft. frame built home was completed with a stucco finish.

The goal behind the Seeley house was to bring a contemporary home to the Lincoln Square neighborhood. This 4,000 square foot home features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a two car detached garage. The exterior features a cantilevered cedar façade with floor to ceiling windows and a cedar deck. The interior was designed with entertaining in mind. It features a large gourmet kitchen with a 12 foot island. The basement includes an open floor plan with a polished concrete finish and radiant heat throughout.
